In Q2 2024, the top 5 social apps on Android in Bahrain experienced varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and revenue. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps include TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and Instagram Lite.

TikTok saw its weekly revenue fluctuate throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately $48K in the last week of April. Weekly downloads for TikTok also showed an upward trend, reaching around 5.8K in the week of May 20.

Instagram experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $716 in the final week of June. However, its weekly downloads saw a decline, falling from 3.8K in early April to 3.1K by the end of June.

Facebook had relatively stable weekly revenue, with a slight peak at $349 in the week of May 20. Weekly downloads for Facebook showed minor fluctuations, with the highest number of downloads being 2.3K in the second week of April.

Threads did not generate any revenue during the quarter. However, it managed to maintain a consistent download rate, peaking at 2.5K in the first week of June.

Instagram Lite also did not generate any revenue but showed a steady download rate, with a peak of around 2K downloads in late April.
